Direct Mail Appeals
Our
most basic way of gaining fiscal support is through direct mail appeals sent to friends and benefactors six times throughout the year. When we write to our donors we invite them to share their prayer intentions with us so that we can remember their specific needs in our fraternal prayers. Many people use this opportunity to include a monetary gift to support our lives and ministries. See our current direct mail appeal and add your name to our mailing list. |

Parish Mission Appeals
Each summer the Province is invited to preach from the pulpit about the evangelization efforts of our men serving in foreign missions. This pulpit-preaching program is made possible through local dioceses' Propagation of the Faith Offices. Annually, a number of friars preach in 20-30 parishes in 6-9 dioceses. Second collections taken during these Masses support our foreign mission work.

Capital Campaigns
From time to time, the Mid-America Province embarks on a major capital project that requires support outside the scope of our annual appeals. For these projects, the Office of Development approaches friends and asks for major gifts and multi-year pledges.
Recent capital campaigns were conducted to replace the windows at St. Fidelis Friary in Victoria, Kansas [$250,000+] and to purchase and renovate a multi-apartment building in Denver, Colorado for the development of Fraternidad San Antonio $500,000].

Each year Friends of the Friars (a committee of volunteers) share their time, talents and treasures in the production of a major special event in Denver. The event is currently a partnership with the Denver Broncos Charities Fund, a fund of the McCormick Tribune Foundation. This partnership qualifies us to receive matching funds for a portion of the gala's net income. Proceeds from the gala are used to support the friars' ministries in Denver and the programs for youth and the poor sponsored by the Denver Broncos Charities Fund.
